Having trained as a musician from the age of 2 and a half, the requirements and needs of a music student are very familiar to me. I was fortunate enough to have the same piano teacher for 13 years, who encouraged my creativity and always ensured that music stayed an important part of my life.
The dream of opening a Music School was constant, but the time never seemed right. Music lessons in London are either done through after school programmes or private tuition where the tutor travels to the students’ home.
When I was made redundant from my advertising sales job at an image agency in the summer of 2014, I realised the opportunity, finances and the time had finally come to open my own music school, as a designated place, free from distractions and also away from home. Luckily, I quickly found the perfect place in Camden.
Both of my parents ran their own businesses, through which I learned first hand that hard work and dedication can pay off, especially if it is a product you believe in.
My main aim when teaching is that the lessons are fun and informative. I place great importance on creativity and set goals with students that we can work towards. I love what I do and that is what I bring to the table at every lesson.
